The folks from Black Hat were kind enough to allow us to present a again this year. All Black Hat Pass holders are welcome to attend the event at Mandalay Bay hotel on August 4th. Our Dojo this year will have a different setup, which allows for more people to interact and a bigger crowd. A full-day event will be held, with several activities.
1. Customizing Kali ISOs with live-build
Kali Linux’s ability to adapt to your specific requirements is one of its most valuable features. Set up your toolkits, customize your desktop environment and wallpapers. Preset your installation media, as required. The Dojo’s custom ISO generator for Kali Rolling will be featured in this area.
Zone 2: Kali Live USB With Persistence and LUKS
USB speeds are increasing at an alarming rate, making them viable storage options for secondary systems. This section will show you how to install your Kali ISO into a encrypted, secure, USB installation. You can also use Kali-specific features like multiple persistent store and LUKS Nuke.
What do you do now that your Kali installation is customized? Hack stuff! This area will allow you to safely and securely use Kali, as well as real-world attack vectors. Hack our site! Get dirty. Did we mention prize? There will be prizes, yes! There will be giveaways of Kali NetHunter devices and Kali Flip laptops as well as Offensive Security Penetration Testing using Kali Linux courses
4. The amazing world of Kali-ARM devices
Non-traditional computing devices are one of the most important developments in Linux today. Kali is a pioneer in ARM support and has added support for a variety of specialized ARM device. You will have the opportunity to interact with many of these devices. You will also have the chance to meet Kali Developers.
Say “Hi!” at the Dojo
We are very excited for this year’s Kali Dojo. The new format allows for more people (we won’t turn anyone away because we are full). You will also have more personal interaction with Kali Developers as well as the Offensive Security team. You can drop by to learn more about Kali Linux and to ask questions. The webpage has more details about Kali Dojo.
Kali Linux 20162 Version
We will be releasing pre-release Kali Linux 20162 ISOs, just like every year. This is only for Dojo participants, students and everyone else interested in seeing the upcoming Kali Linux version. Once we are fully recovered from conferences, our final 20162 release will be made.
